My visume script for Operations and SCM profile

Basic Intro

Hello Everyone! I am Arjun Sanghvi from the city of Bhavnagar, which is famous for its diamond polishing industry and rolling mills in the country. 

My academics

I have completed my engineering from NIT Surat, one of the institute of national importance in the country. I have been consistent in my academics securing 91.1 percentge in my B.Tech, 95.2 percentage in my boards and 95 percentage in 10th. Because of my excellent academic performance I was awarded with certificate of excellence from former education minister Mrs Smriti Irani.

Work Experience in operations

Post my B.Tech I have worked at Technip FMC, an EPC company in the oil and gas industry in the project operations domain. Here I worked in UMM Shaif Gas Cap project for ABU DHABI National Oil company and my team's responsibilities included preparing requisition documents, screening suppliers and evaluating vendor offers for procurement of different static and thermal equipment items and ensuring logistics cost.  This experience developed my interest in the operations  domain and I realized I needed to learn more about it.

Why NITIE and why I am good for SCM and operations role

Hence I enrolled in NITIE Mumbai to gain deep knowledge about operations and supply chain domain from the best professors in the country. Coming from an engineering background I believe SCM/Operations will fit to my skills and knowledge as it is more technical and analytic than other business specialties. I was always fascinated by how the right product reaches to the right people in the specified time. In my previous job, I got to work for procurement of ETO products in the EPC industry and given my good academic background and work experience I would be a good fit to the SCM domain.

My other interests

I am very keen in spreading joy to people in . Hence I worked with joyfest team in NIT Surat, where we organized fun filled activities  throughout the year for the orphaned and disabled children of Surat. The smile and the joy on their face was priceless which motivated our team to work more for them.

My nature

I am an optimistic person who would love to work in challenging roles and scenarios.
